About the conference
Rzeszów Workshop on Graph Theory 2025 will take place from 23rd to 26th of June 2025 in Rzeszów, Poland.
The venue of the conference will be Hotel Bristol Tradition & Luxury - a five-star property in the very centre of the city. Rzeszów Train and Bus Stations are 600 m away.
The main aim of Rzeszów Workshop on Graph Theory 2025 is to bring together scientists from all over the world who work in discrete mathematics (especially in graph theory and combinatorics) and provide a forum to present results, exchange ideas and establish scientific connections.
The conference is organised for the first time, as a part of cooperation with the research group from Gdańsk, the organiser of the well-known Gdańsk Conference on Graph Theory. Therefore, in 2025, it is Rzeszów Workshop on Graph Theory that will have the honour of hosting not only the previous guests of GCGT, but also many new participants who are willing to experience our subcarpathian hospitality.

About Rzeszów
Rzeszów is situated in Subcarpathia, the southeastern corner of Poland, adjoining the territories of Ukraine and Slovakia. The city itself is about 100 km from the border with each neighbour. Geographically, Rzeszów lies in the borderline between the flat area of Sandomierz Basin to the north and hilly area of Eastern Carpathians to the south. The Wisłok River passes through the city, and forms a wide valley. The climate in the region is rather warm in comparison to the rest of the country.
The history of Rzeszów dates back to the 14th century. However, the rapid development of the city began in the 20th century, when it became the capital town of the whole subcarpathian region. Some of the main attractions in Rzeszów are: the beautiful old town with the Main Sqaure, the Underground Tourist Route, the Parish Church, the Town Hall and many other venues. Nowadays, Rzeszów is a modern city associated especially with airline and IT industry.
You can get to Rzeszów:
- BY PLANE. "Rzeszów-Jasionka" Airport is located 10 km from Rzeszów with direct flights to, among others London, Munich, Rome and Warsaw. The airport is well-communicated with the city centre (taxis, buses, train etc.).
- BY TRAIN. Polish Railways (PKP) provide fast direct connections from Rzeszów to the majority of Polish cities. For example, estimated travel time from/to Warsaw is around 3,5 h and from/to Cracow is around 1,5 h.
- BY CAR. Travel time by car is approximately 3,5 h from Warsaw and 1,5 h from Cracow.
